Turn old shirts into new keepsakes.
Most of us have an abundance of T-Shirts that we never wear, yet are too special to get rid of for one reason or another. T-Shirt Quilts are a wonderful way to showcase and enjoy what might otherwise stay shoved in the back of your dresser drawer.
The transformation process.
Getting started is really quite simple.
1. Contact me and we will set up a phone call or text conversation regarding your quilt. By discussing the general idea of what you want to have done (how many shirts you have, the time frame for completion, your price point, etc) you can determine if having a quilt made is the right decision for you and your T-Shirts.
2. We then set up a time for a free in-person consultation with you and your T-Shirts. Together, we will go through your shirts, identify if any special considerations need to be made for them (preferred placement, using the back or the front, highlighting a certain part of the shirt, etc) and what material and color choices you'd like to go with.
If at the end of the consultation, you decide you want to have your quilt made, I will take your T-Shirts and $75 deposit with me and get to work!
If you decide now is not the right time for you, or that you'd like to do something different with them, you leave with your T-Shirts and know a little more about options that are out there for you.
3. I shop for and purchase the necessary materials for your quilt based on the decisions made during our consultation.
4. Once I have all your T-Shirt squares cut, I will send you a few layout options and you select the one you like the best. I will then start assembly and let you know when the quilt is completed.
5. We arrange a time to meet again so I can deliver your finished T-Shirt Quilt and collect your remaining balance.
Ta-Da! You have a custom made T-Shirt Quilt! :)
